I have been licensed to practice law in the State of South Carolina since 1997. I began my legal career as an Assistant Solicitor in the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. In 2000, I moved to the Upstate and worked as a criminal defense attorney and a general practitioner in Anderson, South Carolina. I left private practice in 2005 and served as an Assistant Solicitor for the Tenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office. In 2015, I was appointed Deputy Solicitor and served in that capacity until I opened my own law firm in 2016.

I am a trial attorney with experience in handling all types of civil and criminal matters in South Carolina State and Federal Courts. I have tried more than fifty felony trials including a death penalty case to a jury verdict. I am passionate about serving the needs of special needs children and I have previously served on the board of the Anderson County Department of Disabilities and Special Needs. I currently serve as the town attorney for the Town of Williamston and the attorney for the Starr Iva Water and Sewer District.

I am a native Floridian. I live in Anderson with my wife, daughter, and retired police dog. I attend Grace Episcopal Church.
